Terms of service

The terms for using Tripanize to plan and share your trips.

Updated 22 October 2026 · Operated by Joe-Daniel Hadchity, an individual based in Lebanon.

1. Who provides Tripanize

Tripanize is travel planning software provided by Joe-Daniel Hadchity, an individual operator based in Lebanon. These terms cover your use of the application. You can reach the operator through our contact form. By creating an account or using Tripanize, you agree to these terms.

Tripanize helps organize plans; it does not sell flights, accommodation, event tickets or travel packages. Reservations and payments made with travel providers are separate from a Tripanize Premium purchase.

2. Your account and shared trips

Provide accurate account details, protect your sign-in credentials and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be legally able to agree to these terms and make any purchase. You are responsible for the content you add and for having permission to share other travelers’ information.

Trip members can see shared trip information according to their permissions. Organizers control membership and access. Share invitation links only with intended travelers. Each member decides whether to enable location sharing and can turn it off.

3. Normal and Premium

Normal is free. It includes AI itinerary planning for up to the first 3 days per trip, manual planning for remaining days, manual bookings and manual packing items. Expenses, group chat, member locations, event discovery and the additional AI tools require Premium once the paid plans are activated.

Premium is a one-time purchase for a single trip, shared by its group: $9 USD for 1–2 people, $15 for 3–6 people or $25 for 7–12 people. The organizer, children and travelers without accounts count. Applicable tax and the final total appear before payment. See pricing and features for the current offer and preview availability.

If the group grows beyond its paid option, an upgrade is needed to continue using Premium. Verified payments on the same trip count toward the price difference. Premium does not transfer to a different trip, is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. Groups larger than 12 can use Normal; no larger Premium option is currently offered.

AI requests have usage and rate limits to manage capacity and prevent abuse. Premium does not promise unlimited AI requests or permanent availability of any particular model. During the current preview, payments are disabled and access may be broader than the future Normal plan. Saved trip information is kept if plan access changes.

4. Payments and refunds

When checkout is available, Paddle is the authorized reseller and merchant of record for Premium payments. Its buyer terms apply to the purchase, alongside these application terms. Payment is confirmed by the payment provider before paid access is granted.

See our refund policy for requests, technical problems and statutory rights. Payment reversals or refunds may change Premium access. Your mandatory consumer rights remain in force.

5. AI suggestions and third-party information

AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. Check opening hours, prices, availability, routes, weather, visa and entry requirements, health advice and accessibility with authoritative sources before relying on a plan. You remain responsible for your travel decisions and reservations.

Suggested booking links lead to independent providers. Their terms, availability, charges and cancellation policies apply. Tripanize does not guarantee a reservation, a travel outcome or the accuracy of an expense entered by a member. Expense balances are planning records; Tripanize does not transfer money between travelers.

6. Your content and acceptable use

You keep ownership of your trip content. You give us permission to store, process and display it as needed to operate the service, including sharing it with your trip members and processing relevant information through AI providers when you request AI features. Our privacy policy explains these flows.

Do not upload unlawful content, content you are not allowed to share, passwords, full card details or identity documents. Do not harass people, track anyone without their knowledge and consent, bypass access or usage controls, or disrupt the service. We may restrict abusive use or compromised accounts to protect the service and other users.

7. Availability, changes and closing an account

We maintain and improve Tripanize, but interruptions and changes can occur. We may adjust features and will explain material changes affecting a paid offer. These terms do not remove rights or remedies required by applicable law, including for a service that is faulty or materially different from what was purchased.

You can stop using the application at any time. To request account closure, deletion or help obtaining your information, contact us. Shared records and information we must retain for legal, payment or security purposes may need separate handling, as described in the privacy policy.

We may update these terms. The update date appears above; material changes will be communicated through the application or an account message where appropriate. Purchase terms and mandatory rights already attached to an earlier transaction continue to apply.
